Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a course that one can pursue after completing Class 12 with science subjects. BAMS is based on the traditional art of healing in India; popularly known as Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the a branch of medical care which is based upon the concepts of natural healing processes of the human body which is further enhanced by therapy of Ayurveda.

After passing the 12th class, the student is required to clear a state or national level BAMS entrance exam to get admission in the respective medical college.
